If a book about failure doesn't sell, is it a success?

Its not a succes if your the person who wrote the book.

But it's a success for the person who wrote it because they showed their example of what a failure is.

Yeah but how did they show the example if no one bought it

Because the people saw it wasn't selling, so they knew it was an example of a failure!

It wouldnt be a succes if you dint make any money on it

But the book is talking about failure, which is what the writer wanted to get to everyone. So it is a goal the writer wanted. He never wrote the book for success!
